At Wood County Senior Citizens Association, Inc., we are changing the game. We want to dismiss the thought that all seniors are frail, and that unless you are “older” you can’t be at a Senior Center. We welcome ALL who are 60 or better and hope you take part in our various services and programs. Our young at heart members are thriving. Some are still working full time. They enjoy coming to the center on their days off work, for an affordable lunch, when we have special events, fundraisers, or travel opportunities. Our retired members that can come daily are involved and active. They love sharing their love and passion for life through activities, hobbies, clubs, and so much more. Many have made lasting friendships, discovered new interests, and built a strong sense of community here with us. If you are curious, we encourage you to stop by and visit us. We are a friendly bunch of welcoming friends that love seeing new faces and meeting new people. We are excited to meet you!

The members at WCSC are active and in the prime of their lives. We have many activities to gather together including excise classes, groups, clubs, events, fundraisers, and so much more where we showcase the fun side of life. Here at WCSC, plus means so much more than age. Come join us, get involved, stay active, enjoy a lunch, and see the difference.
We are thriving to emphasize the plus when we say “60+”! We want to welcome all seniors in the area who are 60 and better! Our Senior Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm with lunch being served at 11 AM. We have group activities going on all the time with special events being held frequently. We have a Nutrition Location open in Williamstown for convenience and to welcome those in the area to lunch at 11 AM. Stop by for lunch or a fun activity and see why a Senior Center is for more than just “seniors” but for all those in their golden years who are looking to thrive and make more connections outside of home life!
